Course description
This two-day course involves a discriminating and analytical approach to one of the most common conditions presenting to physiotherapists and orthopaedic specialists. The wry and deliberately contentious title gives an indication of the general approach of the course. Popular concepts will be challenged and a host of new tests, models and treatment techniques presented. Recent research will be constantly referred to, including that conducted by Mr. Wilson, and the question asked as to not just what we know, but how we know. The course includes a large practical element and a variety of teaching methods, including surgical videos, computer graphics and case studies, will be employed to keep everyone buoyed as well as educated. An up to date 58-page course booklet, containing over 180 references, is included in the course fee.
